Control

In July 2021, Alec Ruiter attended the Milan Screen Scoring Program alongside Cassidy Van Bavel, Robby Good, Emily Hendershot, Monica Pineda, and Amanda Steinemann in rescoring a video from the video game Control. Ruiter created the foley and synced the effects, voices, and music into the video to follow the themes and lore of the game.

Wwise Adventure Game

During the NYU Video Game Scoring summer program, Alec Ruiter learned how to implement music and sound effects into video games created by Unity using WWISE, a middleware software. With the pixelated comedic nature of the game, he hopes to move towards more involved projects by participating in game jams.
